Zen’s precept for PM on friendship

“Friendship is born at the moment when one person says to another: ‘What? You too? I thought I was the only one.’”—C. S. Lewis

Work is something that you do to make a living but also is to fulfill your destiny. During work time, I meet a lot of people. I enjoy meeting new people and get things done beautifully and joyfully.

There are one group of people I consider friends. Over time, you will realize the friends who give you practical advice and genuine to you.

At times, human tends to make flawed judgments about friends which causes distance and conflicts. I once had a bad impression about one close friend for things that he said.

However, everything about my judgment was flawed based on some statements he made. Eventually, I apologize.

A PM job though is not to make friends, we are still humans. Someone outside our organization or department can prove to be a trusted advisor whenever we needed a bit of guidance. Be with the best that you can learn from each other.
